Shown on this page are some examples of portraits that I've done in Charcoal, Graphite Pencil, and Colored Pencil. I will work from your photographs, preferably taken from several angles, without a flash, ideally taken outdoors in indirect light. A high resolution setting on a digital camera is necessary to avoid losing detail when the photo is enlarged. If you only have older film prints, it's okay, I can work from those! Many of these portraits were done from photos that were definitely less than ideal! |
